Pretty Tax Co is locally owned in Marietta, Georgia. We prepare taxes for individuals and for small businesses — in person with anyone who can come to Marietta, and over video with clients in all 50 states — and we do it the slow way, talking things through until they make sense.

Who you will work with
You will be talking to me.
Pretty Tax Co is not a storefront that hands your return down an assembly line. You meet the person who prepares it, and you can ask her anything you like about it. That is the whole point of a practice this size.
What to expect: your documents gone through carefully, questions answered without being made to feel foolish for asking, and a straight answer when something in the paperwork does not add up.
Alongside the returns, the practice supplies tax filing software to preparers — the EROs and PTIN holders who file electronically — and helps do-it-yourself filers get unstuck when they are halfway through and the number looks wrong.
Clients are welcome from all 50 states, whether they sit down in the Marietta office or meet virtually — including after-hours appointment requests.

No jargon walls, no being rushed off the phone, and no surprises about what something costs before we start.
Who we help
Individuals filing a straight W-2 return. People with a side business, a rental, or a first year of self-employment. Small businesses — sole proprietors, LLCs, and small corporations — who need their filing kept in order and someone to ask between Aprils, whether they are down the road in Marietta or in another state entirely. And preparers who file for other people and need software that behaves.
What a conversation looks like
You bring what you have. We go through it together, note what is missing, and explain each part as we go. If something does not add up, we say so rather than filing it and hoping. Before anything goes out, you will know what it says and why.
In person, or from home
Both are offered, and neither is a lesser version of the other. Meet in Marietta by appointment, or join over video with your documents in front of you — from anywhere in all 50 states. Evening appointments after 5 PM are usually the easiest to fit around work, and after-hours requests are welcome.
What we will not do
We will not promise you a refund figure before we have seen your documents, and we will not tell you to claim something that is not true. If the honest answer is not the one you were hoping for, you will still hear the honest answer.

Taxes get discussed in a lot of bad rooms. Ours is calm, private, and has a chair you can sit in for an hour without wanting to leave. Bring your documents and a coffee; we will take it from there.
